Rigid truck · Fruit and vegetables
INTRODUCTION
Although their carriage is not regulated by the ATP, fresh fruit and vegetables are often transported in temperature-controlled vehicles in order to guarantee a high level of quality. Often exported far from where they are produced in specific packaging with very tall pallets, they need long-distance type rigid truck and trailer combinations with a very high working height.
OPTIMISED INTERNAL HEIGHT
The layout of the body is designed to maximise the internal volume by adapting the height of the subframe to each rigid truck configuration.
1/2 AND 1/3 LASHING FRAME
Modular system allowing goods to be secured whatever the configuration of the load.
LASHING POINTS IN THE FLOOR
The floor is designed ready to be fitted with specific lashing bars.
BUMPER-C
CHEREAU’s patented Bumper-C protects the vehicle when docking and has been a reference for over 15 years.
FLEX-C LED
A retracting light bracket avoiding damage to the lights in case of rear impacts.
CAMERA SOLUTIONS
CHEREAU provides a range of cameras offering visibility up to 360° around the vehicle to facilitate manoeuvres and secure the vehicle and its surroundings.
CITYLIGHT
This warning light system provides dynamic flash signalling to alert road users that a delivery is underway and a powerful work light to illuminate the rear of the vehicle.
ANTI-THEFT AND ANTI-INTRUSION SOLUTIONS
CHEREAU offers numerous solutions to keep the goods transported safe, ranging from latches and padlocks to the most sophisticated connected door locking systems.
COOLING SOLUTIONS
CHEREAU has mastered all the existing technologies, from standard diesel refrigeration units to gas, hybrid or 100% electric units.
BODIES FOR RIGID TRUCKS USING ALL TYPES OF ENERGY
CHEREAU is an active player in the energy transition, and has naturally adapted to build bodies for the latest generation of rigids running on gas, hybrid vehicles or 100% electric based on battery and hydrogen fuel cell technology.
