INTRODUCTION
The specific characteristics of distribution require specific equipment to allow deliveries to be made autonomously without generating emissions and noise, because, for obvious practical reasons, night-time deliveries are becoming increasingly common. Contrary to popular belief, large capacity vehicles are the most efficient and the most relevant in terms of environmental protection. However, the need to be highly manoeuvrable and are usually fitted with a steering axle. Frequent opening and closing of the body doors is facilitated by the use of a curtain or a SmartOpen-C, and the presence of an air curtain ensures the setpoint temperature remains constant right to the end of the round. The work lights and signalling lights ensure the driver is safe during the deliveries phases.
CITYTRAILER
CityTrailer is the CHEREAU solution for reaching city centres. Available in three versions, with one, two or three axles, CityTrailer adapts to your capacity needs. Its Steering-C rear steering axle makes it manoeuvrable and agile, allowing you to deliver to your customers even in places with difficult access.
AIR CURTAIN
Press-and-hold rear door opening and closing system. It provides better ergonomics than traditional rear doors for distribution activities.
AIRSHUTTER-C
The AirShutter-C curtain limits transfers between the internal and external air. If the temperatures are different, it starts up automatically, thus helping to extend rounds for the vehicle.
ANTI-NOISE SOLUTIONS
These solutions correspond to the PieK standard on CHEREAU vehicles. This name covers all the specific options (baseboards, floor covering, etc.) for silent operation (less than 62 dB).
EASY-C EVO PARTITION
The Easy-C Evo partition enables multi-temperature operations. Easy to handle with a secure locking system, it facilitates optimum air circulation thanks to its new end-stop spacers. Easy-C EVO exists in several formats: 2 1/2 and 1/3 2/3 to adapt to all our customers' businesses.
EASYFLEX PARTITION
Our EasyFlex partition is ergonomic. It is lighter and also stronger; in the event of an impact, it tilts forward and then returns to its original position.
It has a hydrophobic insulating foam and an impact-resistant thermoplastic skin. Finally, its footprint has been reduced by 70mm, making it compatible with the transport of 33 pallets in multi-temperature.
PREVENTION OF UNEXPECTED VEHICLE MOVEMENT
System locking the semi-trailer brakes from inside the body to prevent any unexpected vehicle movement during the loading and unloading phases.
CAMERA SOLUTIONS
CHEREAU provides a range of cameras offering visibility up to 360° around the vehicle to facilitate manoeuvres and secure the vehicle and its surroundings.
CITYLIGHT
This warning light system provides dynamic flash signalling to alert road users that a delivery is underway and a powerful work light to illuminate the rear of the vehicle.
BUMPER-C
CHEREAU’s patented Bumper-C protects the vehicle when docking and has been a reference for over 15 years.
FLEX-C LED
A retracting light bracket avoiding damage to the lights in case of rear impacts.
STEP WITH HANDRAIL
New version of the step allowing to secures access to the body, providing three points of contact.
TAILGATE
CHEREAU provides a wide range of retractable or folding tailgates and accessories selected from the Dhollandia and Bär ranges. Tailgates from other brands can also be incorporated by the Customisation department.
SLIDING CONNECTION PANEL
Connection panel system limiting tension in cables and hoses, and facilitating coupling and uncoupling the semi-trailer.
CONNECTBOX
The ConnectBox is a new interface box between the tractor and the trailer. This standard equipment allows for expanded functionality and safety options. These include flashing clearance lights, reversing light delay and flash warning before the lights go out.
MULTI-ENERGY COOLING SOLUTIONS
CHEREAU has mastered all the existing technologies, from standard diesel refrigeration units to gas, hybrid or 100% electric units.
